On April 18th, the surprise announcement of a brand-new idol group called B≡FULLEST caught everyone off guard. Formed by former Niji no Conquistador members Nakamura Akari, Tsurumi Moe, and Shimizu Riko, this trio clearly had something secret, wicked, and wonderful up their sleeves. I probably should’ve seen it coming when all three announced their graduation at the same time. The result? A stunning new group with a strong concept and serious potential.
I’ve always had a soft spot for three-member idol groups—it feels like the perfect balance. But B≡FULLEST isn’t just any trio: they’re arguably three of the most otaku-minded members from NijiCon, which is really saying something. In this photo below, we can see the three of them in their B≡FULLEST outfits, which are amazing.
Their official website is live, though light on details. There’s a link to their YouTube channel and a prominent DearStage logo, confirming they’re still with the same production company. No major announcements yet, but it’s clear this is just the beginning.
Over on YouTube, they’ve posted a mysterious teaser video. It’s titled like an archive file—B≡FULLEST_20250418—and was apparently uploaded two weeks ago, completely under the radar.

Their social media presence is minimal so far. No Instagram account (which I think would be perfect for this kind of concept), but maybe that tracks—they’ve always leaned toward Twitter. Years ago, the NijiCon girls even said they weren’t really the Instagram type, preferring platforms that cater more to otaku culture.

That said, the key visual on their website is fantastic. The group’s concept is described as “goddesses cast down from heaven to Earth”. The entire creative direction—including the worldbuilding—is overseen by Aoki Takuto (アオキタクト), known for his work on the NieR and SINoALICE franchises.
Their tagline, “この世界は、終わりから始まった。” (“This world begins when it ends.”), adds a mysterious and slightly apocalyptic tone that fits perfectly with their aesthetic.
They also held an announcement livestream titled:
“B≡ON AIR!” B≡FULLEST 1st Online Greeting 〜始動記念配信〜
As for their sound, the livestream description mentions that their music is rooted in J-pop but draws from rock and punk influences—definitely something to keep an eye (and ear) on.
These are their individual photos in their B≡FULLEST outfits.
Are you excited to see what kind of music they release next?
Do you like the direction they’re going with this aesthetic and theme?

About Nakamura Akari (中村朱里)
Nakamura Akari is a Japanese idol, a member of the female idol group Niji no Conquistador (voice-over team/choreography team). She was born in Chiba Prefecture. She belongs to Dear Stage.
Akari enjoys singing and dancing, as well as anime and voice-over artists, so she decided to participate in Pixic’s “Tsukuru! Project” auditions as her last chance during the summer of her second year of high school. Niji no Conquistador was formed and debuted on July 14, 2014. The group’s entertainment activities began at an inexperienced stage.
In 2015, she, along with Matoba Karin, provided the choreography for the song “Kimi no Kimochi Oshiete” (きみの気持ち教えて), which appears on the group’s debut album, titled “Rainbow Spectrum” (レインボウスペクトラム). In December 2016, the single “LOVEmen Koi Aji Yawame” (LOVE麺 恋味 やわめ) was released, which was the first Niji no Conquistador single where Akarin was the frontwoman.
In 2017, she voiced the character Mar in the PS Vita video game Nepunepu ☆ Connect Chaos Chample. That same year, the film Saint Zombie Jogakuin (聖ゾンビ女学院) was released, starring all the members of the group.
In her introduction, she always says, “I’m Nijicon’s spinning dancer.” Her color in the group is red, and it’s also her favorite color because it’s in her name. Her favorite idols are Momota Kanako of Momoiro Clover Z, Okai Chisato of °C-ute, and Mori Saki of Up Up Girls (Kari). She has interacted with the members of Up Up Girls, and Mori Saki sent her a video message at her birthday event in 2017. That was shortly before the group’s major debut.
She loves video games, and her favorite is Dragon Quest. She enjoys powering up, killing the same monster for hours. She graduated from high school in 2016 and went to the Women’s Physical Education College to study dance. There she took jazz, ballet, contemporary, tap, and other dance classes. She also belongs to the highest level of ballet.
She really likes anime. Her favorites include ONE PIECE, Kuroko’s Basketball, Haikyu!!, Ace of Diamond, Carnival, and K-ON! Her favorite voice actor is Hanazawa Kana.
She was never interested in fashion until she joined the group; before, she only wore t-shirts and jeans. When she joined the group, she was one of the shyest and couldn’t talk to anyone without someone else starting the conversation.
