Former Andoll member Hyodo Mai (兵藤まい) launched a new YouTube channel a couple of weeks ago called Mai Tabi -mai trip- (まい旅 -mai trip-). So far, she’s posted only two videos, where we see her visiting interesting places. In the most recent one, we also see a behind-the-scenes look at a photoshoot.
The YouTube channel has its own social media accounts, but for some reason they’re currently not active. The TikTok and Twitter accounts are private, and the Instagram account is empty.

On the other hand, Mai is still active on her personal accounts, especially on Twitter.

The description of the channel reads:
Mai Trip is a channel where high school student Hyodo Mai introduces the cute places she’s visited across the country.
The first video shows her visiting one of those farms where you can pick your own strawberries, called Yuzawa Ichigo Mura.
【Niigata】Hunting for the elusive jumbo Echigohime at Yuzawa Ichigo Mura
Strangely, this first video doesn’t really feel like an introduction video. And in fact, it isn’t—before it, she uploaded a few shorts, which I’m not counting as full videos. I think they were previews of the full-length videos she uploads later. In this one, Mai picks strawberries from the Echigohime variety, which are large, sweet strawberries considered a specialty of Niigata, according to the video description.
The second video was uploaded on May 20 and opens with Mai, makeup-free and mask-free, standing at the door of what I believe is a hotel, watching the rain. She smiles proudly when saying she’s not wearing any makeup—it’s really cute.
【Okinawa】Went to shoot my first photobook! Part 1
The entire video is basically a behind-the-scenes look at her first photobook, titled Passion Fruit Girl! (パッションフルーツガール!), which is now available at the Imouto online store and on photographer Yamamoto Haruka’s site. Links below:
After Andoll disbanded, Mai announced she would continue her post-idol career by trying different things, especially modeling and talent work. Since then, she’s made guest appearances on TV shows and in commercials.
