JUICYJUICY Debuts with “HeyWorld What’sUp”

The new dance and vocal group JUICYJUICY has officially debuted! Formed by talent agency ASOBISYSTEM — the same company behind ATARASHII GAKKO! and all the idol groups under the KAWAII LAB. project — JUICYJUICY brings together six young talents aged between 12 and 16.

According to the ASOBISYSTEM official website, the group started with five members selected through ASOBISYSTEM auditions held in Okinawa (2021) and Hokkaido (2023), along with Ririka, an exclusive model for Zipper magazine. They represent a new wave, connecting both Generation Z and Generation Alpha.

Before their debut, four of the Okinawa-based members spent about a year and a half training and performing covers of songs by TEMPURA KIDZ and FRUITS ZIPPER at local events.

Now, they step into the spotlight with their first original track, “HeyWorld What’sUp,” and its bright, energetic music video — a great introduction to their fun style and vibrant energy.

I’ve been following one of the members, Saara, on social media for a while now. She’s very popular, with over 39,000 followers on Twitter and over 100,000 on Instagram. I had been looking forward to their debut, and now that I’ve heard the song, I’m pleasantly surprised. Especially because when I started listening to it, I didn’t know they were part of ASOBISYSTEM, so I wasn’t expecting it to be so professional. But it’s actually a really good song.
