I recently wrote about Cent Heaven, one of LIVE PLANET’s idol groups, but today I want to share something exciting about their latest project. On April 9th, LIVE PLANET announced a brand-new idol group: LOTUS MARRY! The reveal came with a couple of tweets and some really nice profile photos to introduce the members.
LOTUS MARRY is based in the Kansai region of Japan, and I actually found out about them through Shion, one of the members. I’ve been following her on TikTok for a while now, and honestly, she’s one of the cutest girls I’ve ever come across on the platform. So when I saw her tweet about joining an idol group, I got curious right away.
They revealed the logo of the group too.
As is tradition with idol groups, each member has been assigned a color, but I was kinda expecting a flower theme or something along those lines—after all, the name LOTUS MARRY definitely gives off that vibe.
And we won’t have to wait long to see more from them because the group will be debuting with a live performance at the GIRLS ☆ DELIGHT#337~LIVE PLANET Kansai Shin Group Ohirome LIVE~ event. The name of the event mentions the debut of a new LIVE PLANET group.

Here is the members’ profile information, but I actually have almost no information about them, except for Shion, who’s the only one I know. When I have more information than just their names and colors, I’ll update this post.
Iwamoto Shion (岩本詩音)
Shion has been modeling for a few years now and is super active on TikTok, where she already has over 17,000 followers. Just a couple of weeks ago, she showed off her new hair color—it’s the first time I’ve seen her not rock a darker shade, and it really suits her.

Also, random observation, but one thing I’ve always liked about Shion’s TikToks is that she never uses the same background twice. A lot of creators stick to one setup, but she’s always filming in different places, and it makes her videos feel fresh while also giving us a peek at the scenery around her.
