About Ogura Yui
Singer and voice actress Ogura Yui (小倉唯) ended her contract with Clare Voice in November 2018. She had been working as a freelancer since then. However, in January 2019, it was announced that she had signed with Just Production, one of Up-Front’s promotional agencies. Former Hello! Project members Iikubo Haruna, Mano Erina, and Fujimoto Miki belong to this agency.
Yui began her career as part of HAPPY! STYLE, an idol group formed by Up-Front Style that never took off. However, a sub-unit of that group called Team DEKARIS became more popular, and they soon split up to form the group StylipS.
Yui was once again part of another StylipS sub-unit called YuiKaori alongside Ishihara Kaori, and they eventually graduated to continue their duo. In 2013, they both left Up-Front and continued with their group, along with Yui as a solo artist, Sigma Seven. In 2017, Yui and Kaori disbanded, and in 2018, Yui’s contract expired.
