Just a few months after her debut, Onodera Misa (尾野寺みさ) announced her graduation from Melty BeaR. Melty BeaR’s official Twitter account announced that two members, Misa and Akikaze Hana (秋風羽愛), will end their activities with the group on May 6, with their last live performance taking place on May 5.

Thank you for your continued support of Melty BeaR.
We regret to inform you that Akikaze Hana and Onodera Misa will conclude their activities as members of Melty BeaR on May 6, 2025.
Due to changes in their future career paths and personal circumstances, it has become difficult to continue prioritizing group activities.
Additionally, scheduling and policy alignment with the other members became increasingly difficult, leading to the decision to end their activities.
We sincerely thank all our supporters for their warm encouragement and apologize for not meeting your expectations.
Melty BeaR will continue its activities with five members, aiming toward a new stage with an unwavering commitment to our fans.

I was very surprised by Misacchi’s announcement, especially after she spent so many years with Lily of the Valley, seeing all the original members graduate, and only leaving when the group disbanded. Now she is one of the first members to graduate from Melty BeaR, after only a few months. Misa even changed her appearance when she joined this group; one of the first photos she posted showed her short hair, holding in her hand the 40 cm of hair she had cut off.
In any case, I hope this May 5th is not Misa’s farewell from the stage, but just a “see you later,” and that we see her again soon in a new project. I believe that will be the case.
On the other hand, Akikaze Hana has been part of several groups. In August 2020, she formed the group LOVE SPEARS (ラブスピアーズ). In February 2022, she formed the group na☆na☆na☆ with two other girls who also belonged to other groups at the same time, but it did not last long and disbanded in May 2023. Shortly afterward, in June 2023, LOVE SPEARS also disbanded. Hana later joined Apollon no Tsubasa (アポロンの翼) in August 2023, a few months after its formation, and remained until it disbanded in September 2024. Including Melty BeaR, Hana has been an original member of three out of the four groups she has been in, and this is the only time she has not remained until the group disbanded.
