Pinky Black Announces New Lineup

Pinky Black, the idol group from RN Entertainment, announced on May 4th via their official Instagram account that they will no longer be posting daily updates on that account. In their message, they thanked their fans for supporting them over the past two years and asked everyone to keep cheering them on as they move forward with a new four-member lineup.

According to the announcement, the current four members are Zucchini, Hoshina, AinA, and Riona. Here is the Instagram post where they shared the news, along with a photo of the four of them:

I actually saw the announcement on the day they posted it, but I hadn’t had the chance to write about it until now. Since that post, they haven’t made any new updates, so I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer to find out what’s next for the group.

Hinata

Hinata is the leader of the group, and honestly, she’s my favorite. She’s so cute and cool at the same time. She has her own Instagram account, although she doesn’t update it that much. She was born on Sunday 10th of May 2009 (age 16).

On the group’s Instagram account, she’s in charge of Fridays.

Solaa (そら)

Solaa was born in Monday 28th of September 2009 (age 15). Apparently, she’s half Japanese and half French. She’s the tallest in the group by quite a bit. She has an Instagram account that she rarely uses, but she also has a Twitter account where she’s somewhat more active. On Instagram, she’s in charge of the Thursdays.

Zucchini

She used to be Kazuki, but now Zucchini. She has an Instagram account that she hasn’t used since the group’s debut, but she also has a Twitter account where she is a bit more active. She is the oldest in the group, born on Saturday 7th of June 2008 (age 16). On Instagram, she is in charge of the Sundays.

Rin

Before it was Rinka, but now she’s just Rin. She was born on Saturday 2nd of May 2009 (age 16). She has an Instagram account, but she doesn’t update it very often. On Instagram, she’s in charge of Wednesdays.

AinA

AinA has an Instagram account. She was born on Monday 30th of August 2010 (age 14). On Instagram, she’s in charge of Tuesdays.

Hoshina

I think she was born on Wednesday 14th of October 2009 (age 15). I’m not 100% sure of the year, but I am sure of the date. She also has an Instagram account, but she doesn’t update it much either. Her nickname is Hossy. On Instagram, she’s in charge of the Mondays.

Riona

Riona was born on Friday 20th of May 2011 (age 13). She also has an Instagram account, but it’s private. However, there is an account run by her mother that is public, and it’s basically an account about her. I guess that’s why you have to be 13 to have social media. On Instagram she is in charge of Saturdays.

There’s another video with much better lighting because it’s outdoors. But it’s a full performance with other songs and dances. Here’s the video; it’s set to start at minute six where the song is, but I would actually recommend watching the whole video because everything is great.

This was the first video I saw of the group, back in late 2022. In this video, they dance alongside another group called NEON Baby, but Hinata and Solaa are the ones who draw the most attention in the entire video, or so I think.

Finally, the group’s TikTok account is another thing you should check out. The girls are hilarious and very good at dancing. They have a lot of fun and put a lot of energy into each video. I’ve posted some videos from their account here.
